Caring for children aged from four to eleven years

Our after school club is located in the quiet rural village of Overton in the local Scout Hut. There are two rooms available; the large main hall provides space for a variety of activities such as; the home corner, creative and workshop area, a snack table where a choice of healthy snacks (fruit, raisins, sandwiches, crackers, cheese, toast etc) and drinks (juice, water, milk etc) are available on a self serve basis. There is floor space available for construction/building blocks and small world. There are many board games to choose from as well as jigsaws and puzzles, plus many other resources. The smaller room consists of a sofa, floor cushions and beanbags, a selection of books and magazines along with a computer, television, dvd player and play station. We have access to an outdoor play area, where the children can play football, rounders, cricket, bowling etc. We are open Monday to Friday from 2.30pm until 5.30pm, currently term time only and have a walking transfer from St.Helen's Primary School in Overton and a vehicle transfer is available from other local primary schools, such as ; St Patricks, St Peters, Trumacar and Heysham Mossgate.
